Claire is dreading her 30th birthday…until she finds out Jay is flying out to help her and Dylan celebrate. Armed with a new dress and a carefree attitude, Claire is ready for whatever the big night may bring.

It’s been three months since the last time Jay met up with the married couple he’s grown so fond of. When he finds out Claire’s birthday is coming up, he jumps at the opportunity to see them again.

Jay and Dylan are hoping to give Claire a birthday she’ll never forget, but she ends up getting so much more…

What would make Claire’s 30th birthday a memorable event? A night in bed with her husband and their lover.

Publisher’s Note: This title contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: male/male sexual situations, ménage (m/m/f).

Read an excerpt from the book:

With two fingers, Dylan shoved the envelope a few more inches in my direction and pressed a kiss to my forehead. “This will brighten your spirits, I promise.”

I perked up as his lips lingered against my skin. I ran my thumb under the envelope’s flap, ready for whatever bit of birthday cheer awaited me inside. To my surprise, it wasn’t a bright, glittery card with a sappy poem or a jab at my age. Instead, I pulled out two pieces of hastily folded together white paper.

Confused, I looked up at Dylan as I unfolded the papers. “You know what this is all about?”

He nodded, his blue eyes practically glowing with excitement. “Just open it.”

Flattening the sheets out on the counter, I frantically scanned the travel itinerary that had been printed out and sent to me, my heart thumping with anticipation as soon as I realized what was going on. “Jay’s coming to visit on my birthday!”

My review:  I realized that this was book two so I bought the first book because I am a stickler for reading in order. Honestly unless you are anal like me, you probably won’t have too. It could be a stand alone.

The first book I liked but it falls into the “short, episode” category. This is a trend in books that I am not really cool with unless each book is over 75 pages.  These books are about 35 pages. This book, For Claire, begins 3 months after the first. I like the characters and do find the reasons behind the m/f/m romance plausible but it seems like the book isn’t long enough to really get to know the characters in enough time. The sex scene is very similar to the first book and the book ends kind of abrupt after that particular scene. I really liked the dinner and loved the descriptions. Like I said, I was fond of the characters, the chemistry is really good and I definitely would read the next book because despite the books flaws. I feel invested in finding out what happens next.
