Interview with author Cristina Castilla

Describe your book in one sentence. –Love Comes Again is an easy read for those who enjoy a happily-ever-after romance with a touch of realism.

What’s your current guilty pleasure? I’m a true crime junkie. I will read and watch it even late at night.

When did you decide to become a writer? After I finished my first novel. It was a fascinating tale about ducks.

When did you begin writing? I’m not sure. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t writing stories and annoying my family by insisting that being a writer was my calling in life much to their dismay. They were hoping for a doctor.

What do you love about writing? I love when I hear from readers about how much they enjoyed the story.

What’s the hardest part of writing a book? Finding the time to write while juggling two jobs and being a single mother.

Where do you get your inspiration? Honestly, a lot of the stories have been inspired by my goal to have at least fifty first dates following my divorce six years ago. I’ve met many interesting, crazy, strange, and sweet guys. Almost everyone had a story of their own to tell.

Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest? Jessica Simpson. She’s really honest and direct.

Do you prefer Twitter or Facebook? Facebook. I can’t remember to log into Twitter.

Favorite place in the world? Maui. I love the water and surfing.

Are you reading or writing something else at the moment? I am currently working on Cowboy Blues, the follow up to Love Comes Again.
