I stalk a lot of authors. A LOT. It’s how I came to be a book blogger. This week I decided to feature the first author I really stalked:

Jim Butcher.

About 9 years ago I stumbled on this series called the Dresden Files. It was called Storm Front and it was about this quirky, awkward extremely sarcastic wizard named Harry Dresden. The book was filled with awesome pop culture references and wit. Half way through that book I was in love and proceeded to rip through every volume published and still anxiously await when the next book makes an appearance. His most recent book Cold Days I think was his best to date. I heard he has decide to continue the series and I am really looking forward to see where Harry Dresden takes me….

  1. I’ve never read anything by him before but I’ll definitely check him out! Thanks for sharing!

  2. My husband has recently started listening to the Dresden files via his ipod on his long car rides for work. He gets through like two books a week and seems to really enjoy them. I am going to have to read them eventually.

  3. Melissa Haggerty says

I’ve never read any of his books. The Dresden Files sound good.

  4. Definitely going to have to check him out!

  5. Oh I love Jim Butcher! I havent read the last three books though because of having my youngest and then being so swamped all the time. I need to catch up!

  6. I picked up Cold Days this week. I’d been eyeing it up ever since it released.

  7. I will also be checking him out – I had heard of him already but never read anything of his.

  8. I’ve never read him either, and for some odd reason, I can;t get Linky to work on my blog…. :/
