My Review:

I love a good murder mystery but I haven’t read a really good one in awhile. I was not disappointed by Mirror Deep. The action, turmoil and mystery was fantastic and Joss writes the characters very vividly and you almost feel like you are watching this on tv not reading a book. That is my favorite kind of book. I love when an author can make the words and characters jump off the page. At first I really didn’t like Pierce and thought he wasn’t a good fit for Kat but he grew on me. Their chemistry builds the more you get into the book.

Kat is a horse whisperer who’s whole life is turned upside down when she finds out she’s adopted, her birth mother just passed away and now because of her lineage she is in mortal danger and a murder “target”. Normally I figure out who-dun-it really early on but it took me way longer than usual to figure it out…. a sign of a good book to me.

Mirror Deep flows really well and is a great read for any murder/mystery/who-dun-it buff like me.

Meet the author:

With a degree in commerce, Joss has worked as a consultant for more than twenty years, writing copy for marketing firms and assisting start-up companies launch their business. She recently made the switch from composing copy and promos, to writing fiction and prose. She is developing her style through courses and the support of other writers. A recent graduate of the Long Ridge Writer’s Group, she is a member of the Romance Writers of America and is presently working on honing three other novels for publication.

Blessed with four children and five grandchildren, she resides in Montreal with her husband, a staunch supporter, and enjoys spending her time biking, rollerblading, playing tennis and swimming. She loves creating stories, as she says that it fulfills her need to think outside the box.
