My review:

How do I start? I was thrown for a loop when I started reading this book.  I knew this was a paranormal mystery/romance but the beginning didn’t read like one. This is a good thing.  I quickly was caught up in the story and when the paranormal part cropped up I was almost shocked!  It was brilliantly written and the plot was terrifically well thought out and planned. I was drawn to the dynamic of Elizabeth and Draven’s relationship. You guess sort of early on what Draven’s secret is, but it still is thrilling when Elizabeth figures it out and her reaction to it. The secondary characters are vital to the plot and I was really happy with the extra drama/humor factor they each brought to the story.  This book definitely needs a sequel, they are characters that have a lot more life left.  I know it was written as a stand alone book, but I felt it really could continue. I would love to see how Elizabeth and her cousin Tina’s life continues on after the dust settles.  Tina was a character in the book I really didn’t like in the beginning of the book but as her character took on a more soft side she instantly became one you would root for! Thanks Lisa for a great read!  I hope you have more up your sleeve……
